Eric Marx: Created on an early stage Casio CZ-101 mini 49-key synthesizer, bouncing tracks onto a 4-track Fostex cassette recorder (hence the sound quality).
I found this tune among archived cassette tapes saved from decades ago and grew nostalgic enough to include it here. The Casio CZ keyboards are now valuable collectors’ items going for multiples more than their original price. Shouldn’t have sold mine – years ago.
I still recall staying up late at night on a business trip in a hotel room somewhere, struggling to tease sounds out of those mini-keys. This tune was a one-night creation.
